Beauty that lasts, from sustainably sourced acacia. A modular sofa combined with comfortable FRÖSÖN/DUVHOLMEN pads and cushions for long, lazy days outdoors. Add a few toss cushions for a comfy, personal finish.
All sections in the ÄPPLARÖ series can be used freestanding or together to create a modular sofa in any size that suits your outdoor space perfectly.
The furniture is made of acacia, a naturally durable and sturdy hardwood because of the high density of its wood fibers.
For added durability and so you can enjoy the natural expression of the wood, the furniture has been pre-treated with several layers of semi-transparent wood stain.
You can just shake off water from a light rain, as the cushion cover is water repellent.
The color on the seat pad and back cushion stays fresh longer as the cover is fade resistant.
The cushion has a longer life because it can be turned over and used on both sides.
The cushion cover is easy to keep clean and fresh, as you can take it off and machine wash it.

The best way to extend the life of your outdoor cushion is by cleaning it regularly and storing it in a cool, dry place indoors or in a storage bag when not in use.
Store the sofa cushions in a cool, dry place indoors when the season is over, preferably in a storage bag or storage box to protect from dirt and dust. Make sure the cushions are completely dry before storing.

FurnitureChair, outdoorThe best way to extend the life of your wooden outdoor furniture is by cleaning it regularly, not leaving it outdoors unprotected more than necessary, and re-staining it on a regular basis.
Clean: Use a mild soapy solution. Wipe dry with a clean dry cloth.
Maintenance: To prevent the surface from drying out and cracking, and moisture from penetrating into the wood, we recommend you to re-stain the furniture on a regular basis, for example once or twice a year.
Storing: If possible, store in a cool dry place indoors. If the furniture is stored outside, cover it with a waterproof cover. After a rain or snowfall, wipe off excess water or snow from flat surfaces. Allow air to circulate to avoid condensation.
